Sohee Bae is a pianist currently pursuing a Master of Music in Piano Performance at the Eastman School of Music under the guidance of Marina Lomazov. She is expected to graduate in 2026 after earning her Bachelor of Music degree from Seoul National University in 2023, graduating summa cum laude.
Sohee has received numerous accolades in national competitions, including honors from the Korea Mozart Music Competition, Sonyeon Ilbo Competition, and Sungjung Music Competition. In 2024, she was awarded second prize in the Yeongsan Cultural Foundation’s audition, which provided support for a solo recital, marking a significant milestone in her career.
In addition to her competition achievements, Sohee has performed in various recitals as both a soloist and collaborative pianist, demonstrating her technical skill and musical sensitivity. Sohee continues to develop her artistry at Eastman as a pianist.
