Luye Tang

Luye Tang was born on June 6,1990，in Jinan, Shandong Province, China. He began to learn the piano at the age of six, his first piano teacher was his grandfather, who was the conductor of the chorus. Then he learned piano from Associate Professor Qing Tang until college. In 2008, Luye Tang learned piano from Associate Professor Xie Tong and was admitted to Shandong University of the Arts in 2009. During the undergraduate period from 2009 to 2013, he studied under Associate Professor Mou Lin.
From 2016 to 2019, Luye Tang studied for a master’s degree in Akademia Muzyczna im. Grażyny i Kiejstuta Bacewiczów w Łodzi under the tutelage of Professor Anna Wesołowska-Firlej and dr hab. Łukasz Kwiatkowski. After obtaining the master’s degree in 2019, he became more determined to continue learning piano. In 2020 he took “Postgraduate studies” at the Music Academy in Lodz, in 2021 he began artistic internship in the piano class of dr hab. Łukasz Kwiatkowski. Currently he is intensively preparing for the doctorate at the Music Academy in Lodz.
