Joanna Łobodzińska

Joanna Łobodzińska is an Outstanding Laureate of the 11th edition of the World’s Best Musicians Competition in flute from Poland (age group: G – 19 to 22 y.o.).

This distinction is awarded in recognition of an exceptional artistic presentation distinguished by high musical quality, individuality, and expressive interpretation.

Artistic Biography – Joanna Łobodzińska Joanna Łobodzińska is a Polish flutist and student at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music, where she studies in the prestigious flute class of Professor Jadwiga Kotnowska. Her musical journey began with the completion of the Primary Music School in Wrocław, followed by the Karol Szymanowski Secondary Music School (Ogólnokształcąca Szkoła Muzyczna im. Karola Szymanowskiego) in Wrocław. These formative years provided a rigorous foundation in both solo, chamber and orchestral performance. Joanna Łobodzińska is an active and versatile performer who has participated in and won prizes at numerous national and international competitions. She has participated in numerous festivals, recitals (solo, chamber music and orchestra) as well as various masterclasses with flutists such as: prof. Peter-Lukas Graf, prof. Carlo Jans, prof. Aldo Baerten, prof. Paolo Taballione, prof. Wiesław Suruło and prof. Maria Peradzyńska. Competition Success: She has earned numerous accolades at national and international flute competitions, including: -1st Prize: 29. Internationale Concorso per Giovani Musicisti „Citta di Barletta”(Barletta, Italy), -1st Prize: VIII Konkurs Fletowy imienia Mariana Katarzyńskiego, (Katowice, Poland), -1st Prize: XX International Flute Competition Tahir Kulenovic (Valjevo, Serbia), – Platinum Prize: European Grand Winds, Brass and Percussion Competition 2025 (chamber music – trio) and distinction ,,Artist of the month” – Master Prize: Jean – Philippe Rameau International Music Competition 2025 season 3 (chamber music – trio) – 2nd Prize: 29. She was awarded music scholarships, including: – ,,Young Poland" (Młoda Polska) Scholarship Program (2024) – Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland – Scholarships of the Mayor of Wrocław

Currently, under the guidance of Prof. Kotnowska – a world-renowned soloist – Joanna Łobodzińska focuses on exploring diverse interpretations of the flute repertoire and developing her unique artistic voice. Parallel to her musical path, she also continues her academic development as a student at the University of Wrocław.
