Born in Seoul (1977), 1997-2003 studied composition at the Universty of Mozarteum Salzburg (Prof. Boguslaw Schaeffer), 2005-2009 Vocal Pedagogy and 2006-2010 choir conducting at the Bruckner Private University Linz.

She won multiple prizes at various international competitions. Orchestra prize at CCAT (International Composition Competition) 2002 in Kaohsiung (Taiwan), first prize at the Raiffeisen-classic prize 2003 in Salzburg (Austria), first prize in the solo piano category and third prize in the violin category at the Herbert von Karajan Competition 2005 in Vienna (Austria), third prize Weimar Frühjahrstage für zeitgenössische Musik 2006 in Dresden (Germany), international Nikolaus Fheodoroff Composition Prize 2022 in Government Carinthia (Austria), first prize and special award for the best female composer at the international competition ,,Eine Stimme steht im Dunkel… 2023 HMDW Vienna.
Commissioned ,,Ungeahnte Kräfte‘‘ from Bad Ischl for the project in 2024.
