Deedeh was born into a family of musicians. Her grandfather, Mehran Rouhani is a composer (pupil of Micheal Tippet). Her father Neysun Rouhani is a concert pianist, and her aunt is an opera singer. She started learning the piano with her father when she was 4. She has participated in many festivals and competitions from around the world and won many prizes Including the 2nd prize at the London International Chopin Competition where the jury include Dimitry Alexeev and Vanessa Latarche.. She achieved her Grade 5 with Distinction when she was 6 and her grade 8 (ABRSM) with Distinction at the age of 7.
At the age of 8 Deedeh was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal College of music Junior Department and was the youngest person to be accepted in this school.
As well as studying piano with her father, Deedeh has regular lessons with the legendary Piano teacher Norma Fisher.
Deedeh has participated in many masterclasses and had lessons with distinguished teachers such as Joanna McGregor, Piers Lane and Noriko Ogawa, Charles Owen and Murray McLachlan.
