Alessandro Piccichè was born in Marsala (Sicily, Italy) on 12th April 2013, into a musical family.
He began to study piano at age of 4, under the guidance of the pianists Domenico Piccichè and Nina Gallo (his parents) and then with Antonio Sottile, in Palermo Conservatory of Music.
He gave his first piano concert at the age of 7, for Rotary International Club. He has already performed for various cultural and musical institutions and associations.
Despite his young age, he has won several national and international piano competitions.
Grand Prize Winner in 2024 Gold International Classical Music Competition (USA), he won the Gold Prize in 2024 International Northern Light Piano Festival (Sweden), the Golden Award – Virtuoso Performer in Asia InMusic International Competition (China), the first prize in “Royal Maas” (The Netherlands), “Dinu Lipatti”, “Clara Wieck Schumann”, “Amigdala”, “Città di Sarzana”, “Città di Albenga”, “LAMS Matera”, “Lucia Iurleo”, “Ischia”, “Città di San Donà di Piave” (Italy) International Piano Competitions, the Silver Prize in Hudson International Music Competition (New Jersey, USA), the second prize in “Làszlò Spezzaferri” International Music Prize (Italy), the third prize in “Paderewski in memoriam” (Poland) International Piano Competition.
He won the first prize in Barcellona “Mandanici”, Francavilla Fontana “Pianisti 4-16 anni”, Caccamo “Benedetto Albanese”, “Città di Piove di Sacco”, “Città di Riccione”, Lamporecchio “Giulio Rospigliosi”, Palermo “Premio Antonio Trombone”, Piombino “Riviera Etrusca” and “Città di Palermo” (Italy) National piano competitions.
He partecipated in piano masterclasses under the guidance of the famous Italian virtuoso pianists Michele Campanella and Roberto Cappello.
He was awarded as an outstanding young excellence by Kiwanis International Club.
Top winner at Ibla Grand Prize International Competition, in 2024 he was on a concert tour in USA (Virginia, Arkansas, Texas, New York), culminating with his debut at New York University and Carnegie Hall.
