Ivo Dominik Ciszek is a young, talented pianist, an aspiring composer, and a performing artist. At the age of seven, he won first place at the Richmond-upon-Thames Performing Arts Festival in the United Kingdom. Since then, his talent has been recognized at many prestigious music competitions and festivals. In 2022, he received the Second Prize at the 2nd National “Muzyczny Koryfeusz” Competition, and in the following years he continued to achieve further successes, including the Bronze Prize Diploma at the International “Ad Libitum” Competition, second place in the 2nd International Music Competition Małopolska 2022 Online, first place at the International A. Mozart Competition in Vienna, and first place at the online Fanny Mendelssohn International Competition.
Ivo composes his own pieces, which he presents during his recitals. He also performs in a duo with his younger brother, a saxophonist, with whom he received a second-degree distinction at the 39th National Chamber Ensemble Competition organized by the Centre for Artistic Education in Warsaw and the Polish Musicians’ Association, Wrocław Branch. Ivo stands out not only for his technical precision but also for his deep musical sensitivity. His performances are full of emotion, and he has the ability to convey subtle nuances in musical works.
