Tomoki Imamura born in Tokyo in 2013, 12 years old. Tomoki began playing the cello at the age of 6.
Tomoki has previously received the following awards:
・First prize at the 16th Beten Music Competition in Japan
・10th David Popper International Cello Competition in Hungary, Special Prize (The best popper etude)
・ 2nd prize at the 1st Grunewald International Music Competition 2024 in Germany
・Gold Prize at the 24th Izumi no Mori Junior Cello Competition in Japan
・Winner of the Junior talent award at the Vienna New year’s Concert International Music Competition and 2nd prize in the 2025 Camerata Artists International Competition in America, Junior 1 (ages 12-14 ).
・19th International Jan Vychytil Cello Competition category3 1st prize.
