Aren Toplaghaltsyan

Inta Paula Briņķe is a young and ambitious flutist from Latvia with a passion for performance, education, and continuous artistic growth. Her musical journey began at the age of six at the Ulbroka Music and Art School, where she studied under Daina Treimane. She continued her education at the Jāzeps Mediņš Riga Music Secondary School, studying with Andis Klučnieks and Liene Denisjuka-Straupe. Currently, she is pursuing her higher education at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music under Dace Bičkovska and is expanding her studies through the Erasmus+ exchange program at The Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. There, she is further developing her artistry under the guidance of Sarah Ouakrat, and gaining insights from renowned flutists Jeroen Bron, Joséphine Olech, Bénédicte Zeitoun.
Inta is a dedicated performer with a growing international presence. She has successfully participated in solo competitions across Latvia, Slovakia, Italy, and Lithuania. Her achievements have earned her recognition from the Latvian Ministry of Culture for excellence in performance. Most recently, she received a special jury prize at the Latvian “Young Flutist” competition for her outstanding interpretation of contemporary works.
Her commitment to artistic development is evident through her participation in high-level masterclasses. In 2024, Inta was selected for the prestigious Penthesilea Academy in Austria, where she studied flute and piccolo orchestral repertoire and explored holistic techniques such as the Wim Hof Method. She worked with world-class musicians including Karin Bonelli (Vienna Philharmonic) and Gudrun Hinze (Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra), further strengthening her skills and stage presence.
Inta actively performs across Europe, with solo concerts in Latvia, Estonia, and the Netherlands. In 2025, she performed at the opening of Huntenkunst, an international art event in the Netherlands, sharing her music with a wide and diverse audience.
Beyond performing, Inta is also passionate about education. As a flute teacher, she has guided her students to notable success. At the VII International Wind Instrument Performance Competition “Naujene WIND 2024,” her student Ramona Balkāne received second prize – an achievement that highlights Inta’s dedication as a mentor and pedagogue.
